Throughout the year we hope to continue our efforts in working towards a viable solution for the Palestinian people collectively. We will continue to campaign for the recognition of the Palestinian state. We believe that with the support of British Parliament and engagement with the EU and our allies, together we can strengthen the position of the Palestinian people in achieving their self-determination and in securing a viable independent state in which Palestinians can enjoy democratic rights and live freely in our homeland once again.
The Palestinian Mission’s responsibility is to raise awareness of the situation in Palestine and to solidify the vision of peace and a free Palestine on a national and international level. We will continue to build our relations with the British community and the EU in hope that we will soon see the end to Israeli Occupation
Our Objectives and Vision for the future:-
Upgrade our status to Full Diplomatic Mission.
Issue political statements and press releases necessary and relevant to the Palestinian cause.
Build good relations with the government, EU, International Community, NGO’s, British community, media outlets and allies that believe the occupation should end.
Facilitate the building of the foundation for a Democratic Palestinian state.
Keep the public informed on relevant developments and awareness of the issues that continue to challenge our people under Occupation.
Encourage the peace process negotiations.
Regular updates on the situation in the OPT and news feeds.
Represent the interests of the Palestinian Diaspora in the UK.
Provide academic and professional information and research on Palestine to facilitate knowledge and understanding of the region and the nature of the Palestinian/ Israeli conflict.
Without peace their will never be justice; let us work towards a secure and peaceful future for Palestinians who have lived under a brutal occupation for over 60 years. The occupation must end, and Palestine must be free and independent.
